Who We Are
Kewalo Marine Laboratory is a world-class research facility specializing in the study of the biodiversity and the effects of human activity on our precious local marine environment.
Where We Are
Kewalo Marine Laboratory is located on a two-acre, ocean-front site on the south shore of O’ahu, adjacent to Kaka’ako Waterfront Park and the Kewalo Basin boat harbor.
What We Do
Kewalo Marine Lab provides support for University of Hawaiʻi faculty, students, and visiting researchers from around the world who seek to understand life in the marine environment.
